Who We Are

The College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Newfoundland and Labrador (CTCMPANL) is a non-profit society dedicated to maintaining and improving the quality and standards of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture care in Newfoundland and Labrador.

The CTCMPANL is a provincial college which provides leadership for our profession. We strive for excellence in providing professional care to those we serve. We support all members of our profession on a national level through our affiliation with the Canadian Alliance of Regulatory Bodies for Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture CARB-TCMPA.

Our Mission

Our mission is to protect the public by establishing a system of mandatory registration in which practitioners have to meet and maintain standards of practice, education, competence and ethical conduct in TCM and acupuncture care.
